Rajendira Kumar is the Managing Director of El Alimentos, the manufacturer and supplier of Top-5 Fresh and Frozen Food Products in Chennai, Tamilnadu. He started his career as an Information Technology Professional and worked for a Leading MNCbefore starting his passion – “Tasty & Healthy Foods”as his full-time entrepreneurial journey.Without having any background into the food value chain, food production and packagingtechnologies, he started his dream in a humble manner by preparing ready-to-cook food products in a small production unit.
With the support of his family members, management team and his persistent desire to improve quality, shelf-life and the rate of production he grew the organization from 4 members to 75+ members. He is committed is to establish El-Alimentos as the Number 1 Food products company in South India and position Top-5 Food Products as an everydayhousehold product in our Kitchens.
Surendra Kumar is the Executive Director of El Alimentos, the manufacturer and supplier of Top-5 Fresh and Frozen Food Products in Chennai, Tamilnadu. His professional experience as an efficient Administrator helped the company oversee its fast-growing operations from the beginning.
He collaboratively sets up the futuristic direction of El Alimentos by laying out a strategic & execution plan for achieving desired growth goals, operating efficiency and quality control. In an industry where multiple regulations keep evolving, he updates regularly himself on the compliances required to meet quality and hygiene standards.
He is also responsible for initiating and maintaining supplier relationships, striking sourcing contracts for a seamless production cycle.

With a strong FMCG sales background he brings in valuable experience in improving store sales, volume contracts and contract manufacturing assignments.
Having worked for leading food product brands in South India, he is working on improving the reach, customer satisfaction and continued business growth. He ably manages a team of direct marketing, digital marketing and sales professionals in sustaining the steady growth of the company.
He has established a KPI driven dashboard to refer to the daily/weekly/monthly growth of sales and orients new sales staff to maintain up to date information. Motivating sales staff to perform more and attain new heights is a regular discussion he has along with the leadership team.
El Alimentos has established a state-of-the-art food production unit in Chennai. Stretching over 20000 Square Feet, the company has provisioned personalized spacing for R&D, production, packing and delivery. The company also has a secondary production and distribution unit in Chennai for meeting timely needs of our clients.
